Ram Mehar Singh is the head coach of the PATNA PIRATES squad for the 2022 season. The PATNA PIRATES Kabaddi team is owned by Indian Entrepreneur and businessman Rajesh V. Shah. The club’s franchise was acquired by Rajesh V. Shah in 2014, with the start of the pro kabaddi league in India. It is one of the first few teams that joined the Kabaddi league in India, and the pirates have since supported the international promotion.
Even though the PATNA PIRATES have long parted ways with record-breaking captain Pardeep Narwal, they look to be a strong team this season. What are the chances of PATNA PIRATES winning the PKL this season?
PATNA PIRATES's strength this season will lie on the back of the several raiders the team has signed. This will be a departure from their over-reliance on former captain Pardeep Narwal.
The signing of young Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh, with Gold Medal in the 2022 World Junior Kabaddi Championships, for 31 lakhs will no doubt bring expectations to the team. Sanchin Nawal has a huge boot to fill this season. The 84 lakhs raider signing will have to perform in order to live up to his price tag.
The Pro Kabaddi PATNA PIRATES team currently lacks a proper defensive setup to back the raiders. They currently possess inexperienced players in defensive positions, and it is hoped that, with proper coaching, they can deliver properly.
